A good transaction

that I'm sure we all have seen everywhere. Maybe its even from the same factory (the only difference cosmetically is that the LEDs on that one are black, on this one clear.) However, on the one I got from SC2000 the IR FEDs work and the image wasn't noisy (IF you use an 8 or 9 volt power source)
The other identical looking cameras (I was thinking, such a low price, I'll get several of them) are next to useless. They are so noisy that I would be ashamed to use them for anything important. This one, on the other hand, is quite acceptable. Worth it, if you ask me, to pay a few bucks more and get the better quality. Those other ones must be factory seconds or something.
On this camera, the LEDS work, on the other identical looking cameras that I bought, the LEDs dont seem to work.
Plan on using an 8 or 9 volt supply (You could use any 7 to 9 volt, positive tip supply) as this doesn't come with one.
On 12volts this camera gets hotter than I think is good and within a few seconds the image starts getting noisy. 6 volts it works but there is dropout. 7 to 9 volts and everything is fine.
Hopefully the LEDs wont burn out too fast, the best way to ensure they don't is to try to use it in a lighted area so they won't be needed much.
This camera and the black version of it - are pretty good for the money. But stay away from the ones that look just like this with the black LEDs.
Not at all the same.
