This is the special design plastic housing for the PZ0420 and CMQ1993X. It has the audio hole, metal bracket and lens collar, nearly 20g lighter than the metal housing. It provides effective protection for the board camera without affecting your RC airplane’s barycenter due to the heavy weight, is the best choice for many FPV players.

Although this camera case is offered right below the "600TVL SONY SUPER HAD CCD D-WDR Color Board Camera with OSD Menu DNR" it DOES NOT FIT.
The camera board on that camera is roughly 6mm too large both ways to fit inside this case. So this case is a heck of a deal for a buck, but it won't hold the thing you just bought. I give this a 3 because you can't blame the plastic box for being marketed badly.

Dear Sir, Thanks for your feedback. This plastic housing is suitable for our camera PZ0420, CMQ1993X. The original size of the camera board is 38mm * 38mm. To fit the board into the housing, you need to cut the outer edge of the housing to make is 32mm. Please remove the lens mount base of the camera, put just the camera board into the housing. Screw the lens into the housing lens hole. The lens mount base is no need for the installation. Make sure you use the correct length screws to fix the housing. Please check the below video, about 1:15 in the video, the technician shows you to move the crystal resistor aside so that you can install the backing plate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=fvqTv74WNRc Please have a try. Any problems please contact us via email info@sc2000.com, livechat session or phone call.

Fits PZ0420 perfectly and also fits Effio-V WDR camera from Surveilzone but requires modification to the back cover

I had to trim the board and thats ok but there were also some kind of bracing in the housing in 2 corners so I had to file the camera board in these. Also the whole for connector doesn't fit so I had to enlarge it.

After those mods it works very well and the price is really low!

Housing is for PZ0420/CMQ1993X, but you have to cut the camera board (as it was nesessary for metal housing too). The only point for me was dismounting the objective and setting it back: one ha sto carefully set the focus.

Every FPV camera I get from you will use this housing. It is so much lighter than the metal housings and works just was well. It is perfect for the PZ0420 and CMQ1993X. It also fits other cameras with minor trimming of the rear panel.
Be aware that you must use 2 lock rings to secure the lens. One alone will run out of threads before the lens reaches focus. The 2nd lock ring functions as a spacer and when used worked perfectly.
