  1. Perfect Protection and mounting

    Posted by J**********n on 26th Mar 2014

This is an excellent non expensive well made housing. I am always pleased when my camera boards are housed in this housing as it gives the most robust safety containment for the board. I don't do model aeroplane use with it, but would compare it to a flight black box in that the camera would survive. I use them in home CCTV.

  3. Mini Camera Housing Case

Posted by Unknown on 25th Jan 2014

I have purchased this housing and also the plastic one. I prefer the plastic due to weight. However both seem to have the same problem and that is that with the camera fitted inside there is a can on the back of the camera board that sticks out to far and does not allow the back plate of the housing to fit flush. Other than that they are fine housings.

Dear Sir, Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate it. There is a crystal resister on the back of the camera board. Please check the below video, about 1:15 in the video, the technician shows you to move the crystal resistor aside so that you can install the backing plate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Kevwuv-Ldf4 Any problems please feel free to contact us. Nice metal housing for protecting your cam.
It is not waterproof but for a occasional drop it will do just fine.
My SONY Super HAD CCD 600TVL D-WDR DNR Board Camera For FPV fits perfect after cutting off the pre-cut edges of the camera pcb board.
    Great housing.

Packed inside a nice b ox with plenty of bubble wrap qlong with the camera and leads, also well packaged. HOWEVER no screw pack!! I spent hours trying to source locally, finally found some that will do. You should take more care.

  8. Does NOT fit even though it's recommended for my camera

    Posted by M****l on 11th May 2013

It's WAY too small for the 600TVL I purchased here.

    Dear Michael,

The housing fits the camera you have (PZ420/CMQ1993X).

You need to cut the outer edge of the camera PCB board to put it into the housing.

You can check the below video for the installation instruction.

  10. Rubbish

    Posted by G*g on 26th May 2012

To fit 600 tvl sony super had inside you have to bend capacitor than cut unused plug.
I have followed instructions and broke my camera because of this.
Even if you do everything its still at least 1mm to small. so you have to sqeeze cam inside.
U bracket came with rust on it...

Thank you for your product review. We appreciate it.

That is due to wrong operation to the camera and cause damage or short-circuit on the PCB board. Settled this case by arrange replacement to the customer.
