This is a three layer blue glass optical low-pass filter, it consist of two-piece refractive plates and a blue glass (IR infrared blocking glass). The two-piece refractive plates is made up by a high quality optical synthetic quartz crystal, do not have any Sensor of the infrared light above 650nm, 8.8mm x 8.2mm x 2.58mm dimensions is suitable for using in the 1/3'' CCD camera.

    I've used this Low Pass Filter for Bascom Explorer HD19 camera and 2,1mm lenses that are not equipped with filters (the image was pink colored). So with this filter the color is correct. Highly recommend this filter to solve the described problem.

    However, glass is thick.
    use short focal length lens, glass hit the rear lens.
