Police have released surveillance images as part of their investigation into a bag snatch at Harris Park on the weekend.

Detectives from Parramatta Local Area Command are renewing their appeal for information into the robbery and believe it was a random and opportunistic crime targeting a vulnerable member of the community.

They have released images of two males who may be able to assist with inquiries.

They are described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, medium build, approximately 170cm tall with short black hair.

One of the males is described as being aged in his 20s – 30s and wearing a button-up jacket, a dark grey shirt and black pants.

The other male is described as being aged in his late teens to early 20s and wearing a white ‘Henley’ brand t-shirt, black track pants and white joggers.

Police would like to speak with the two people depicted in the images and are urging anyone with information about their identity and whereabouts to come forward.
